AMERICAN SADDLEBRED EUROPEAN CHARTER CLUB CHALLENGE Open to purebred American Saddlebred Horses owned by members of European Charter Clubs. Rules 1. Horses must be ASHA registered (America) and registered with a European ASHA Charter Club. 2. Owners of horses must be members of a European Charter Club. 3. Divisions – in hand, Pleasure Driving, 3-Gaited, 5-Gaited, Hunter and Saddle Seat Equitation. 4. Horses must be nominated in each division (Fees are £10, Swedish Kroner?, €15) before any points can be earned. 5. Competition will run from 1st January to 30th October in each year. 6. European Charter Club Challenge Classes may be held separately or in conjunction with existing classes. Challenge Class forms will be completed for each class that is entered and must be submitted annually from each participating Charter Club by 30th November in each year. 7. Horses may enter as many classes in each division as they wish, but only their average score in each division will count. 8. The highest (average) scoring horse in each division shall be deemed that divisional champion. 9. The highest scoring horse (all (average) scores added together from all divisions, shall be deemed European Champion for that year. 10. Horses may cross-compete in divisions. 11. The same judging criteria will be used in each country. Sheets must be filled in for each horse, in each class and submitted annually by the host Charter Club (ASHA of Sweden for Sweden, ASHA of Europe for Germany and USA-UK for Great Britain). A league table will be kept for each division and rosettes and prizes will be presented to the winner of each division annually. These will be posted online (name of website/websites) and printed in each Charter Club’s newsletter. In addition they will be submitted annually to the ASHA in America. 12. In hand classes shall be judged out of a maximum of 140 points – see class sheet. 13. Equitation classes shall be judged out of 200 points – 100 for railwork and 100 for pattern. Only one of the 9 World Cup patterns may be used in any equitation class within this competition. 14. Pleasure Driving, 3-Gaited, 5-Gaited and Hunter classes shall be marked out of 100 points – 75 for performance and way of going, 25 for manners and conformation. |
